This is the second course in the TA series of 2 classes totaling 96 hrs of coursework needed to become a Teacher Assistant in a NC Title 1 school. This class will prepare students to take the 3 WorkKeys® assessment tests and also covers state requirements regarding ESL, IEPs, classroom management skills and more.
This class will be held in person on Wednesdays and require online classwork in Moodle and ZOOM to complete 48 hours of online and in person classwork. Attendance and participation is required. Students must pass with a 70% or more and the course is taught in English. This class does not articulate.
You must complete the TA1 class before you can sign up for this TA2 class.
