This study abroad experience will be a mix of service learning, immersion with nature, breath-taking views, and education, of course. We will interact with the locals who are kind and generous of spirit. Known as the nature island, we will hike to and from waterfalls, natural hot springs and pools, visit and read at schools, sea-kayak to remote beaches for clean-ups, snorkel, visit with the local college and engage with students, visit the Kalinago indigenous people, learn about reef conservation and many more activities with this island of rainforest, the Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop.

Associated Course
HUM 120 – Cultural Studies or the concurrent continuing education course. The class will meet during the first eight weeks of the spring semester of 2026. Specific dates/times are TBD. The cost of the continuing education class is $49.

Scholarship Info
Davidson-Davie Scholarships: Study abroad participants who have completed at least 12 credit hours at Davidson-Davie and are currently enrolled at Davidson-Davie may apply for Study Abroad Scholarships.
